The food truck is super tasty, highly recommend! The store has great meat, dairy, honey and other locally made products.
Just make sure you check the hours as they're different for the shop and truck which basically just does lunch.

This is me and my wife’s kind of place! Simple menu, great food, chill outside seating. Highly recommend stopping in and getting a burger and going into their store to get some fresh beef, lower than H‑E‑B prices.

Farm fresh for certain. This road side stop off Hwy 90 was a delight . We had the smash burgers which is their main feature and according to the very sweet young lady taking our order it's always on the menu and they rotate the other 3 options often.
Our smash burger was delicious, grilled onions jalapenos and cheese. Simple and so flavorful. The seating area is outside with a tiny playground for little kids (I really wanted to get that hamster wheel).
inside the tiny store attached they sell fresh beef of all sorts, in addition to the typical homesteading goodies (sourdough) , eggs, milk, cheese, honey, and other little items.
There is also a coffee shop attached. We did not go in, but for certain will go in on our next outing to Uvalde.
Overall a great experience. Super envious of the locals that have daily access to the Gem!

Amazing!!! I was Uvalde and popped in for a new lunch spot. I took home a smash burger and beef salad. It was off the leash ! The quality of burger was fantastic joined by homemade sweet potato fries. My wife immediately commented on an amazing clean organic taste . I would give FFB a go for sure if your in area on vacation. It's handy location is right across Walmart. Im stopping for coffee and some homemade baked goods my next drive out!

Woooh doggies! Every single dish coming from the food truck is perfectly seasoned and expertly crafted with the top quality beef they raise. Skilled chefin' happening here. Love the store too. Everything we've tried has been 5 stars; you will not be disappointed. They offer Homemade ice cream, raw milk, the best beef around, bangin sourdough bread, and more. Nothing but awesomeness coming from this joint. Also, very friendly folks and such a cute setting. Healthy and SO tasty! Just wow.

This is my beef store. Supporting local ranchers. Their black angus beef is delicious. Soooo much better than store bought. They also have eggs, beef tallow, and other homemade goodies and gift items. They also have a food truck and serve usually 4 different beef items, which changes from week to week. All of which is delicious. (Smash Burgers, sandwiches, naan wraps, beef kabobs, nachos, brisket and birria tacos, steak fingers, etc.) AND, there is a lovely little coffee shop and bakery right next door with frozen meals (single, small, and large sizes). Grab a tub of her chicken salad or pimento cheese and a bag of Butterhorn rolls. Scrumptious!

Wonderful helpful welcoming folks. Absolutely love their beef! Everything we have purchased has been top notch. Cooks up tender and taste great.

I bought a cheese and a roast for jerky. Probably the 1st time cheese and butcher shop beef were worth the stop, the prices were about the same as grocery store, easily worth the drive

Very good and tasty beef

The beef is always real and tasty here! Also the variety of tacos and other options at the food truck have always been amazing! Today the rib plate was fall off the bone tender and great taste.
